Return address label etiquette.

Natalee, on May 19, 2017 at 2:36 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Hey y'all! I'm going the easy way and using return labels for my STD and invitations. My fiancé and I currently live in Arlington but we are moving in September. Because of that I am just using my parent's address for the return address. My question is what name should I use? I just have mine on there right now. Fiancé could care less if his name goes on there. Since we are using the same labels for the invites too should I put my mother and father's name on there? Does it really matter?

Thanks guys!

I don't think the names really matter. Are your parents hosting the wedding (invitation says "[Parent's names] request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter")? If so, I'd use your parents' names on the return address. Otherwise, I think just your name is fine.

It doesn't matter, we used my parents address too and put "Shannon ___ & Alex ____" even though that isn't our personal address. You can put whatever you want

We used our first names only for the STDs then my parents' names and address for the invitation. I didn't want our guests saving the address from the invitations thinking it was our permanent address!
