Return Address Issue

Hi guys!

So FH is a junior - we received a STD in the mail yesterday from my girlfriend and it was addressed to us as “The future Mr and Mrs FH’s last name” - which I love seeing lol 🥰 She didn’t include the junior though (not even sure she knows he is one) but this just had me thinking.
When it’s our turn to mail out STDs/invites should we put our return address as “the future blah blah blah JUNIOR?” Or does it not even matter?

I know this is a very small thing in the grand scheme of it all but just wanted to know any thoughts on the subject lol

I'm pretty sure it should technically be "Mrs. and Mr. Joe Smith Junior," but who really cares? I would do it however you want.

From what I know, Jr is only used if it's the full name, so like it wouldn't be Mr. Smith Jr., but Mr. Adam Smith Jr.

It's only a problem if both sr and jr live at the same place. Otherwise I say leave it out. My dad and brother and sr and jr and honestly after my brother moved we stopped using it.

This exactly. My brother still lives with my father so when we sent invites we addressed them as Sr & Jr.
