Retro 50s style Rockabilly Bridesmaid Dresses.. Which should i pick?

Suzie, on May 24, 2018 at 4:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

I am looking for retro 50s style rockabilly bridesmaids dresses and I found the cutest dresses at PinupDresses.com They can fit all my girls, sizes Small through 3x so that’s not a worry. But they’re all soooo cute, I can’t decide. I think I like the polka dots. Especially 1 + 3. Which do you think would look best? Matching bridesmaids or different for the matron of honor? I want them all! So cute! Thanks for your opinions. 💕💕💕💕💕

I would choose one of the all black ones so they will be sure to use it again. A cute LBD for all occasions. Not everyone looks good in a halter top so I would go with the black dress with a pop-up color. That style is super cute.

I agree that a solid color is probably better as polka dots don't always photograph well and you don't want your pictures to look weird. They are super cute tho!! I see why you are having trouble deciding!

Smiley heart these! I had a slight polka dot theme in my 60's local reception so I'm drooling over these. I say go for polka dots but can you let your BMs pick if they want #2 or #3? I think #7 is so different let your MOH have that one if she chooses it.

FYI, craft stores have a lot of polka dot ribbon you can use on stuff like flower vases. I got some for our cake border...

And got polka dot reception invites on Zazzle (they have matching stamps too):

Since they are all so great, why don't you let all of your bridesmaid's pick their favorite of the black ones (polka dots or solid)? That way you don't have to pick Smiley smile if you are going for a uniform look you can always have them "vote" on their favorite.

Personally I'd pick one that wearing a bra with wouldn't be difficult, but they are all cute and the colors go together pretty well...that being said if they get a solid color then could always add a bow or belt in black/red/burgundy/whitr/with rhinestones etc Smiley smile

The first three, with the bigger polks dots made me think of Minnie Mouse. I'd go with a solid color. It will be far more versatile and possible to wear for another occasion.

Definitely a solid color, I think the polk dots will look too busy in pictures. Could you do some polka dot shoes? I'd maybe let them mix and match if you can't decide. They're all cute!

We are doing the same theme!! I love these! I have 4 girls, and 3 want polka dots and my MOH wants solid black, so it kinda worked out. I'm letting them pick the top style they feel most comfortable in. And I'm purchasing the petticoats for them! 😊

I love the halters. While I love love love polka dots, I think they are a bit much for bridesmaids and will look really busy. Have you checked out modcloth? They also have great vintage dresses in all sizes.
