Has anyone had or is planning to hold their wedding ceremony in a restaurant? Would appreciate any tips as I’ve only really been to “traditional” weddings at a church or someone’s backyard.

We’re renting out a private room at a restaurant for a small (~50 people) wedding and reception. I’m trying to figure out the logistics of the ceremony, like, where do I (the bride) go while guests are arriving?

You might be able to find a restaurant where a second area might be available too. This could work better if you are not choosing a busy time for the restaurant. Would people be seated at their tables for the ceremony?

We’ve already booked our venue and would rather not change it.
People will be seated at their tables, with an aisle down the center of the tables.

Some have suggested a hotel or an AirBnB type place. Another option could be an RV. It depends also if you are needing to get ready at that spot. Could you also be somewhere else and have (for example) a limo drop you (and anyone else with you) off to start the ceremony?
Some others should hopefully chime in tomorrow (but it can be slow over the weekend).
