Response time!

I personally like emailing and messaging me but I find that with response times if you want immediate answers it would be better to call

I would reach out via email or phone. Not all vendors actively use WeddingWire for communicating. Many of them just use it for advertisement and don’t check their messages.

Try searching for some of the vendors' sites & contact the directly through there. I've had some luck with a few vendors while searching for a venue, but for others I opted to look them up & email them directly instead. Most times the response times were 1-2 days, but it was usually never over that. I prefer to email as I sometimes don't like talking to people, but if you want a more prompt reply then calling is best. I'd say say email them, but leave them your number so they can call you back.

Reaching out via email would be best. You want everything in writing. Vendors use these apps for advertising and rarely keep up with messages.

Each of the vendors I've reached out to on here definitely responded in a timely manner. I find it easy and convenient to use the messages through this app, so I love using it! You should, of course, reach out over phone (email, call, or text) if you are looking for immediate answers, but the app is sufficient if you can wait a few hours for a response. Saves you from having to find contact numbers and what not.

I've had to write down what I wanted to say ahead of time so I wouldn't forget lol I get a bit nervous & am afraid to say 'no' sometimes so that's why I'd rather email haha

Response time definitely varies with vendors. I got some immediate responses initially and literally 7 months after I requested information two additional vendors reached out to me to tell me they were available (I've hired all my vendors now). LOL... Just be patient, they'll respond on their own timeline.

Yeah under normal circumstances vendors would take days to respond, and then with a pandemic on top of that it’s a little more delayed.

I would call and email. I never got a response through wedding wire, but wedding wire is a good place to find vendors to contact.
