Rescheduled Again!!!

I know the feeling all too well girl. I’m so sorry you had to push it out again. Hopefully you can find done joy again. Take a break from planning and enjoy your husband!! That’s what I plan on doing! Good luck to you!!

I hear ya! im going through this as well. these are very uncertain times, so just hope for the best. hopefully life will get back to normal within the next few months, which will help us anxious brides discover some joy again, but theres no guarantee. so sorry you guys have been forced to push such an exciting day out. try to enjoy your hubby. congrats and good luck to you!!!

I am right there with you and understand your frustration. We were supposed to be married on June 27, 2020, postponed to September 18, 2020 and decided to further postpone to June 25, 2021. We will be having an intimate ceremony on September 18 and a vow renewal/reception in June. I know we made the right decision but my Mom has been less than understanding and has criticized our decision. I'm really anxious that others will do the same.

April 9th was my wedding day too!!! We did end up getting married in our living room. Rescheduled the big celebration to 08/30. We shall see if it happens.

I can only imagine the stress. We’ve come up with a plan B & C...still holding out hope for October 🤞

View Quoted Comment I believe you absolutely made the right decision, especially with everything going on with covid19, & protests... there is a real possibility of a second wave around the fall. Plus most venues are rescheduling everyone for next year b/c large gatherings are still not going to be allowed, at least here in NYC. People were relieved that we're rescheduling for next year because they felt it's too soon for big gatherings and some weren't comfortable, so I don't think people will be critical, they may be relieved as well. I wish you all the best with your wedding, it'll be even more amazing! 😉

I am glad you decided to have a small ceremony on your original date. I'm sorry you had to go ahead and reschedule for a 3rd time, I really hope everything gets settled by the end of this year.

We're also on our second reschedule! Our first date was June 13th, 2020, then August 18th, 2020, and now were reset for May 22nd 2021. We've also decided on having a courthouse wedding as soon as we're able to, and then will have our reception with friends and family in May. I totally understand how you feel with the 'losing excitement' now that it's so far away. As bad as it sounds, I just want to get it over with already so we can move forward with other exciting things in our life!
