Replace slip under lace?

I just bought a dress online and it turns out the champagne slip underneath the lace is tanner than me. Is it even possible to keep the lace overlay and move it onto a different slip? It is only sewn together at the top.
I'm not sure I would even suggest this kind of alteration. I found a white dress with the same shape, is it feasible that the lace could be sewn onto that??

I would think so but might be pretty expensive, find a really good seamstress!

There's not enough of the dress showing to be sure, but if you are talking about removing an entire interior dress (if that is what the type of lining it has) and then replacing with a new one... it would really depend on construction. It might be fairly easy or it might be essentially pulling the whole dress apart and starting again.
