Hi everyone, I was wondering if you are renting or buying the décor for the wedding. And what do you think is more cost effective?

Our venue includes tables and chairs and gives us the option of renting dishes, linens, etc. through them. Our current plan is to buy the linens because the rental price is $14 each but you can buy them online for $5-$8 (depending on the color). We will likely rent the dishware because I have no idea how to collect and leave with 150+ settings of dirty dishes.

For decor, I'm buying everything. I showed my florist my inspiration picture, and she quoted me $69 per centerpiece! No f-ing way. She was going to charge $5 per floating candle and $2 per vase. I've been able to get most of my vases (I want 3 different sizes on each table) at the Dollar Tree for $1 each. You can order cases of vases through Dollar Tree! I got floating gel beads and floating pearl beads on Etsy, will buy the flowers from Fresh Market, and plan on buying the floating candles from Michael's with the coupons. I think I'll end up spending about $10/table.

I bought all my tablecloths since I only needed 12. Caterer is providing dishes but I also bought stemless wine glasses for toasting and had them engraved (used a discount code too!) so they double as favors. It was cheaper than renting surprisingly. We are making centerpieces with old books from the thrift store (reception is in an old library!) and dried flowers from the farmers market.

Renting lights for trees, lights for back patio, chandelier over wedding arch, chandelier for porch, cocktail tables. We are buying napkins, table cloths, runners, sashes for cocktail tables. It seems like in most things it's cheaper to buy.

There number of things to be considered which can be cost-effective for a wedding. Just like the cocktail table and glassware, furniture also plays an important role in making the environment more attractive and cozy. You can look for multipurpose chairs, guest chairs, lounge furniture set at the website here and can order the same at cheap price with the assurity of top quality furnished items. Innovative flower decoration is also another thing to consider.
