Renting Linens

cassondra, on April 18, 2019 at 7:01 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

We are going to rent our linens from a website who states that we will be responsible for ironing/pressing them if we want them without wrinkle after shipping.

1. How would you suggest the best way of getting the wrinkles out.

2. Best way to get them to the venue?

You could use a laundry/dry cleaning delivery service. They would press/steam them and then deliver them

Hey Cassondra!! You could bring the linens to a dry cleaner and ask for them to be pressed, this way you will be able to relax and not have to worry about them yourself. You could always iron them personally but this may take up time that you don’t have to spare as you are preparing for your wedding.

If you will have a day-of coordinator, you could ask them to bring the linens to the venue. If not, you could ask a reliable family member or friend to bring them before the ceremony.

Are your linens matching your wedding colors or are they going to be a neutral color, like white?

I found it was actually just cheaper and less of a hassle to just buy them. I bought beautiful burgundy table cloths from tableclothsfactory.com

    Hi Ashley,
My daughters caterer recommended tableclothsfactory.com too. Has your wedding come and gone yet? I'm wondering how this worked out for you. I've read such horrible things about the wrinkles and how hard it is to get them out. Even Wedding Planner Jamie Wolfe on YouTube says it was her biggest mistake as a bride to buy linens.. Having them steamed at cleaners can be an additional expense. I'm looking for advice from.someone who has already gone through the process start to finish. The post wedding care too (washing, drying, ironing, storing) Was it worth the savings in the end or save the trouble and rent them?
