Renting land as wedding venue

Does anyone know if in Houston, Tx or surrounding areas, I can rent land space for a wedding? I wanted to have an outdoor wedding and wanted to do it under a big structure tent to decorate everything how I can want it.

Hey Sara! It’s so great to have you be a part of the WeddingWire community! An outdoor wedding sounds great! I looked in the WeddingWire venue search for Houston Park & Outdoor Wedding Venues and it showed up a few options.
You could also contact your local government to inquire about any local park areas that allow people to hold events. You might get lucky and find somewhere great!
I know you want to have a tent wedding, but when looking at locations you should remember that you will need to be able to run electricity from somewhere to the tent and have an area for food prep, etc.
Are you hoping to have your ceremony in the same location?
