Rent bridesmaid dresses

Cynthea, on January 19, 2017 at 11:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Has anyone ever done this? I came across it in one of my Google searches. It seems pretty legit but I'm just curious if anyone's actually done it. If so how did it go? I've been in a few weddings and if I had the option to rent my dress I probably would've Smiley smile any thoughts?

Depending on what your looking for, I think you can buy for less then renting. I'm bragging again but I got these for $35 at Modcloth.com

If you're thinking of Rent the Runway, you'd better get your order in NOW. With a June wedding, their stock will disappear quickly. I'm serious, if you're thinking of doing this, get on it THIS weekend. June is the most popular wedding month, and you already might be too late (and this is based on my own personal experience with RTR).

As far as renting from other sources, sure, go for it. You can get designer gowns for a quarter of their retail price, and a Badgley Mischka always trumps a DB or AA bridesmaid gown, and for about $100, your ladies will look lovely and not have to wonder where they're ever going to wear that gown again.

Yes they have a ton of clearance dresses and if you sigh up for their email list, you get 20% off.

Also try windsorstore.com I found some for under $60 there

@Shy Bull - did it work out for you?

I am considering RTR for bridesmaids too.. (have had A+ experience with them for multiple rentals for myself) but a little worried about 4 girls w/ different heights and body shapes!!

Anyone actually gone through with the rental route for BMs? Pros/cons? I trust their service for regular rentals but I want to know how it works out for a wedding!!
