Removing posts/photos

Gracelyn, on October 26, 2021 at 3:54 AM Posted in Account Support 0 4
Is there a way to delete my old posts and photos from this app? Just not wanting to be reminded of my ex-fiancé, but trying to use the app now to help my friend who is getting married.

My understanding is that you can't delete posts (as a way to keep people from being rude or bullying), so to remove all those posts and photos from your account you'll need to actually delete your account. You can then create a new one with the same credentials, but that's the only way I know of to start over.

    Edited to be more specific!

I don't think it removes the posts from the forums if you delete your account, but if you delete your account and start over, those posts and photos shouldn't show up in your new profile.

This is 100% correct. I had a profile I was active on, then deactivated it when we had to postpone our wedding again, because I just felt I needed a long break from anything wedding planning related. When I tried to sign back into the account, it wouldn’t let me in. So I had to create a whole new account. But, my old account is still there with all my pictures and posts.

Hi Gracelyn! If you go on a desktop computer you can remove photos that you've posted from your profile page, here's how:

    - Click on your profile pic in the top right corner of the screen, and click on Profile

    - Click on the Photos tab of your Profile

    - Under each photo you'll see the options to Edit or Remove the image

    - Click on Remove, then click OK in the pop-up confirmation box

If there is a specific discussion or two you would like removed, please email those details (with links) to community@weddingwire.com for consideration.
