removing a thread

Hi, I was wondering if you post something on a forum is there a way to go back and remove it? Thanks so much!

There should be a remove button to the side..like other websites, right next to your post!

I have asked once... on the post about what our last names will change too. Didn't really think about the risks until after so I asked the guys upstairs by flagging my response and on the "other" section I just said that it reviled personal information. They removed it.

Eh, that whole topic gets dirty (removing threads)...bc yeah, it would be nice, but if you think about it, when you talk to someone in person there is not delete button...it just comes down to watching what you say whether it be just a comment or personal info....you would not be able to follow a thread if it were possible to delete something that was said halfway through. If you really need something you said deleted, flag your comment only (not the entire discussion) and when it asks for a reason, let them know why you want yours deleted.

They will remove it if you tell them a good reason it needs to be removed. Otherwise, it will just have to die and be burried deep into the forum of forgotten posts.

90% of other forums have a delete/edit button, so I think it would be beneficial for the staff as well to add that option, or import everything to an actual forum, instead of how it's set up here...

I think it would solve a lot of problems...

Then we could have a baby section!

I have asked WW to remove some threads that I made in my 'less than stellar' moments (especially when I was sick and completely beat down) and they did very quickly for me which I appreciate. It wasn't because I minded what I said but I would hate for my BP or family or future family to stumble on it and wonder why I didn't just address them with my thoughts or concerns. It helps to get advice but this is all public even if we think we're in bubble.
