I have tried to watch relationship reality shows but don't like the idea of treating something so serious as marriage like a game. I have friends who absolutely rave about the shows so I can definitely see why some people love them.

This exactly! My daughter and her friends watch these shows, so I catch bits and pieces occasionally. I think they are totally ridiculous! These people don't have the first clue what love is, or how to manage a relationship. It's just sad and disturbing to me!

Same with the Bachelor, and all of its incarnations. Anyone who thinks they are going to find "true love" on a reality (fake) television show has some serious misconceptions about marriage.

They drive me bananas! So cringe worthy! How can you pick a spouse like that? My mother likes them and I can't be in the room if she's watching them.

I have Been watching a lot of say yes to the dres and I watched One where the bride actually looked at the fiancé and said if he has to get a second job to pay for this it won’t matter. It blew my mind. She ended up spending 50k on two dresses. Goodness gracious! I cant Believe after that comment he still wanted to marry her!

I love those shows purely for the entertainment aspect of it. When you put a camera recording your personal life it's going to definitely create greater tension I'd think

They then rate each other on food, dress, decor and something else (drawing a blank) and then overall experience. The winner gets a free trip. I love watching it because it’s interesting to see people’s different styles and ceremonies.

Now that sounds like a show I'd like to watch. Had I heard about it sooner I would have tried to participate in it.
