Rehearsal Food...help!

Courtney, on September 28, 2019 at 1:30 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6
What are you having food wise for your rehearsal dinner? The venue has to do the food there and I don't really know what to do!

For the wedding reception we are doing brisket, mashed potatoes, and green beans with an assortment of drinks. Cake and cheesecake bites for dessert. FH wants crab meat stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer.

I want to keep it simple and not spend too much money. Two of his friends have gotten married here and they've both done steaks, baked potatoes, salad, and dessert for the rehearsal but we aren't wanting to go that big with it.

Thank you for any advice!!

Do they have a chicken or some other meat option you can go with?

Were doing more of a cocktail style “dinner” for our rehearsal dinner to keep it more casual. Five passed apps, a charcuterie board and an assortment of sliders.

Our rehearsal dinner is going to be a taco bar! This was one of the options our venue had and we loved it.

I just looked at our papers and that's an option for ours as well.... it says fajita and taco bar together. That cant be too expensive. They also have a slider bar, a pasta station, potato bar, nacho bar, and chicken wing bar

Sounds good to me or you could always go to a restaurant for and that would probably be cheaper than the venue

We had our RD at a Mexican Restaurant. Appetizer was chips & queso, then guests had the option of 6 different entrees, then brownies for dessert.
