Rehearsal Dinner

I would rehearse, eat, then decorate. Everyone at the rehearsal might not stay to decorate, so they could eat and then leave while everyone else finishes up.

Agreed - I'd leave the decorating for last

The venue is letting me come in as early as 2 hours before rehearsal so I'm decorating then with my sister and fiance. The dinner might not end until 830-9 and I'm not about to decorate then! Plus we might go to a bar to hang a but more after dinner.

Are you having your rehearsal dinner at the venue? If so, I would eat first and then decorate. That way, nothing gets on your pretty decorations. For us, we have the venue the day of the wedding and the day before. We are going to do all that we can the day before and have the rehearsal dinner somewhere else.

You know I hadn't thought of getting anyone to help. I took the Friday before our wedding off to decorate all day and make sure everything is at the venue and ready for my attire/getting ready.
If I were a bridesmaid though I would rather decorate then eat.

We are eating while we decorate. Food will be available all evening and very low-key. People can eat when they choose.

I know that I wouldn’t be required to be a “servant” nor would I feel like one - it would be that I wanted to be a part of a pretty huge day of my friends life.

I would say rehearse, decorate, then eat. That way you're not bouncing around places and save time.
