Rehearsal dinner question

Katie, on September 30, 2019 at 7:22 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
Ok so this is hard. Our rehearsal is not until 6pm on Friday night. Our wedding is at noon on Saturday which means my girls and I need to start getting ready at like 7:30am if not earlier. I am not a late night person so I am not sure how to do a dinner without being out super late. Our rehearsal will not be over until 6:45pm or so and all of our bridal party works and has kids and one is out of state so I don’t think early dinner is an option. I was thinking about still giving the gifts at the rehearsal but inviting everyone to a lunch the day after as a thank you. What are your guys thoughts. I am at a loss on what to do.

Have a casual dinner after the rehearsal and you can be done by 8-8:30. I don’t think there’s any way around this.

Are you sure you can't eat before the rehearsal? It can be as simple as a sandwich tray, of which leftovers could easily be saved for those who arrive late. As a wedding party member, I probably wouldn't love going to a rehearsal on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and then another lunch on Sunday. That's really asking a lot.

I think it would be ok if you can either get dinner close by or right at the venue. And then just hopefully by 830p the dinner ends or something.

I’d just do dinner at 7pm, but keep it low-key.

Could you do an early dinner before?
