Rehearsal dinner outfit????

Hi Katherine. I wore a lace fitted dress in my wedding color to my rehearsal dinner. Our rehearsal was in a church so a dress was appropriate, but think of how formal or informal the setting will be for your dinner before you decide. Do you have pictures of your dress pinned into a bustle so we can see? How many bustle looks did you try before you decided not to do one?I thought I didn't like bustles, but it turns out I just don't like certain bustle styles. There might be one that is good for your dress, but if not then a short dress or a dress with no train could be a good option.

The wedding and pre-dinner are at very different venues. Instead of a rehearsal, we're doing a welcome dinner (destination wedding) at a brewery so I'll go with a more casual dress. I love my wedding dress so I'll wear it at the ceremony AND reception. Not sure about the bustle yet as I haven't gone in for alteration fittings but I don't want to take it off before I have to.

I'd say go with comfortable/practical and what makes you happy.

I am wearing a vintage pin up dress that is the same color as my accent colors for my rehearsal dinner. I am getting my dress bustled. It was only 50 and I am probably going to trash the dress on my dirt bike for the honeymoon, so not too worried about it

I just ordered a white jumpsuit from Modcloth last week! I didn't want to do a dress as our rehearsal/welcome dinner will be on a boat, and I'll be wearing my wedding dress the next day so I was kinda over dresses haha Plus I wanted to be comfortable.

Wearing a navy blue all over lace dress for rehearsal dinner. Bustled wedding gown for reception and changing out of it and into a halter red dress with slouchy sweatshirt or raglan 3/4 sleeve shirt with Firefighter's Wife on it for leaving the venue.

I just bought a lace dress in the color of my bridal parties dresses to wear for my rehearsal where the weather is looking to be upper 70s (this upcoming weekend).

Also wearing a lace dress, most likely it will be in my main color.
