Dedicated June 2018

Rehearsal dinner length

What might be a time frame for a dinner? We are having a destination wedding and will only have a matron of honor and best man and like a total of 11 people and I don’t think we are going to have any toasts or anything like that. I think it’s just going to be short and simple. The only reason I’m asking is because we are going to take a boat cruise after the dinner for everyone including non bridal party, so basically everyone will meet at the boat place and we can go on a boat ride. I’m just not really sure on a timeframe.

Thanks

I would allot 2 hours for dinner and drinks. Dinner usually takes an hour or so and that leaves time for mingling and coming/going. Several of the restaurants I looked at for our reception only allowed 2 hours per party (I’m having a small DW too) so I figured that is a common amount of time.

Our rehearsal dinner venue gives us the room for 4 hours. We're having 26 people max. I don't think will need all four hours but maybe three.
