I've seen them both ways. We had a DW so everyone was invited to the RD, so we put the RD invite in with our wedding invite. It was not the same suite, but they looked nice together.

ETA: My in-laws hosted the RD and the invitation reflected that even though it was in the same envelope as our wedding invite.

I simply texted everyone lol I didn't have the rehearsal dinner finalized before invites went out.

We hosted both, so we put them in with the invites.

Our MIL is hosting the rehearsal dinner so we mailed them separately.

Depends who is hosting. Our invites will say "together with their parents" because we are all contributing to the wedding but FH dad and step mom are paying for the whole rehearsal dinner so those invites will be sent separately.

We sent invites for rehearsal dinner and simply included them in the same envelope as the wedding invite, they were just a size smaller so no big deal.

I've seen it both ways, so it's probably up to you. If you're RD isn't that formal you can probably do word of mouth.

Our rehearsal dinner will not be formal at all, just the rehearsal at the church and dinner at FILs house. So I'll either just do a text or Facebook event

We’re doing separate. FMIL & FFIL are hosting so we’re letting them send them out.

Hmmm- okay, thank you! My FILs gave us money for the RD, but didn't care how or where we chose to do it, so I should definitely make sure that's reflected on the RDI. So glad I posted here and I realized that!! Bride brain...

We did a welcome dinner for all out of town guests, and we hosted both that dinner and the wedding, so we included the dinner info as an insert in the wedding invite for all oot guests.

I've been in 6 weddings and only once have i received an actual invite to the rehearsal dinner. It came separate from the invite as the parents hosted. The others were all word of mouth (texts/calls)!
