Rehearsal dinner in Atlantic City NJ region?

Amanda, on December 11, 2017 at 2:10 PM Posted in New Jersey Planning 0 7

Our venue I do not believe does rehearsal dinners? They do host Friday weddings and I am ok to venture somewhere else for the rehearsal dinner but just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for South Jersey Atlantic City region, Egg Harbor Twp/ Galloway.

What venue are you at? Also - you don't really have to worry about this for awhile. Most places wont let you make a reservation that far in advance.

My venue - Rams Head Inn - will host a rehearsal dinner.

The smithville in will also host one - and your guests can walk around the shops and stuff so its really nice.

You could also go into AC and have the rehearsal dinner there - there are a ton of restaurants in different price ranges.

Ram's head is lovely, but it really is too early to even investigate this.

Tomatoes in Margate or Domenico's in Ventnor. My grandmother has a place in Ventnor, which is right on the border of AC, and we always go to those 2 restaurants when we go out there. Both have great food, but be warned they book up pretty far in advance in warm weather.

We opted to have ours at the Italian Gourmet. We looked into Romenalli's, but I wasn't happy with their food. We looked at alot of places and they were costly. Not sure how many people you'd have, but something to explore. Keep in mind, they may increase pricing for 2019. RD doesn't have to always be at a restaurant either. Originally, we wanted to do pizza and beer, but opted for a buffet since most of our BP is from OOS and that would have been ALOT of driving.

We're having our rehearsal dinner at Angeloni's II in AC. We went to a birthday party there and loved the service and the food!! They have a private room and 2 reasonably priced party packages to choose from.

Hey! I'm getting married in November and our Reception is at Blue Heron Pines!!! Are you not so in love with the venue?!

As for rehearsal dinner, we are doing the Smithville Inn. Its not too far from the venue and can hold a decent amount of people. Not to mention the food is delicious. Also guests can walk around the shops before or after the dinner!

Best of luck in finding a place! You have plenty of time, but it will also go by so fast!
