Rehearsal Dinner e-Invites or Paper Invites

Tanya , on November 11, 2017 at 5:43 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 10

Is it appropriate etiquette to send our rehearsal dinner invitations electronically or via USPS? Or does it even matter?

What Im planning is prepare a digital one and send them through text or email... only bridal party (and their plus one) and parents are going to the rehearsal...

Electronically seems fine. Nothing about the rehearsal dinner needs to be particularly formal

I think unless it's a super formal dinner e-invites are totally fine.

I didn't even do either of those. I just sent a mass text to my bridal party.

I'm not sending invites for the rehearsal at all. Just let my bridal party know and parents/grandparents already know.

E-vites .. rehearsal dinner is just for the wedding party and close family I think so it's not a huge deal

We are inviting a crapload of people to the rehearsal dinner (all my family coming is from out of town, and FH's family is huge and if you invite one person you have to invite everyone), but it is a super casual thing so we are doing e-vites and I am sure no one is going to bat an eyelash. I think it just depends on how formal your rehearsal dinner is.

We made an invitation insert for our RD (we invited all of our out of town guests and family - about half the guest list and everyone came). We put the RD information/invite in our wedding invitation.
