Rehearsal Dinner Attire

I recently came across this dress that I would LOVE for the rehearsal dinner, but I'm not sure if it's too dressy for the occasion. It's technically a wedding dress from David's that is also listed in rehearsal dresses, but more affordable than a dress that I love from BHLDN.

If I had a simple updo bun, a cute statement necklace and wedges, do you think this dress would be appropriate?

What are you wearing (or did you already wear) for the rehearsal dinner??

I wore jeans and a nice top but ours was more casual. I think that dress is nice and not too dressy at all.

@MizzzCara - thanks for the input! Jeans sounds so great, but FH's family is hosting at a nice place nearby and it will probably be more on the semi-formal side. I really dislike wearing cocktail-length dresses, and this one just popped out at me!

It depends on the vibe of your RD. You mentioned that the location of your RD will probably have more of a semi-formal vibe, I think this dress would look great. My RD is pretty casual so I am planning to wear a plain white dress and pair it with a LLR Joy for a pop of color. I will probably wear either wedges or sandals.

It depends where you're having it.. if it's a nice restaurant that's perfect . I'm probably wearing a long sleeve short white dress

It will likely be hosted at a German restaurant. When we go there for dinner I always dress nicely, but more casual wear is appropriate, too. FH's family is more proper and will probably be dressed in suits.
