Registry - 2nd marriage

This is my 2nd marriage and my FH first. We already live together and own our home. I wasn't planning on registering anywhere for our wedding but some of my friends have been telling me I should. Is it proper to register if this is my 2nd time around?

From the other side....FH and I are established and I don't personally care for the idea of registries. I think they're for couples starting out with nothing, not for upgrading.

Registries are actually really helpful for your guests. Otherwise they don't know what you might like. Even if you've been married before it never hurts to have a registry. It doesn't even have to be traditional housewares. You can register almost anywhere and there are universal registries as well. I would say to add on at least a few traditional items for the older folks who think a wedding gift HAS to be a toaster, but you can add on fun stuff as well. My MOH got a bunch of fun games when she got married!
