Registering For Gift Cards?

It's the same thing as asking for cash.

Register for some nice gifts in a variety of price ranges.

@ Nancy D: I did. I registered for many "normal" gifts, as I stated in my post. The question was whether it's okay to add a few gift cards as well.

Not okay to ask for gift cards. They are basically restricted-use cash, and you can't ask for cash no matter how you try to obscure the fact that it is cash.

Based on consensus, I will remove them from the registry!

I would change the title of the thread, OP, so you don't keep getting the same responses.

They add one as a default and should remove it. The Target one I removed but if I access it like a guest it is still there. I'm mortified.
