Rectangular Tables

SassysoClassy, on July 31, 2017 at 12:55 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Did any of you use rectangular tables (or will use them?) If so, may I see your centerpieces or centerpiece ideas?

Thank you!

I made my own centerpieces, and they were painstaking and in hindsight, I would've just ordered them, lol. But I used mason jars and glued petals on the inside of half of them and filled half with glass beads and used string lights interspersed on the inside. The other half I spray painted the outside with a heart cutout and put a fake battery operated candle inside. My FMIL crocheted doileys (spelling) that the jars will sit on. Overall low key but the work was intense but they look beautiful. For our Bridal table, my SIL used wine bottle sprayed painted silver and filled with fake flowers and the bottles ordained with crystals and lace. Looks stunning, too.

I'm struggling with this too. My vision is round tables so the whole thing is skewed now that my venue only has rectangular tables.

We are doing rectangular tables and hired a florist to do the centerpieces. She never mentioned anything that it should be different than round tables. We're doing 18in lanterns with flowers for half the tables and a 3ft (I think?) pilsner vase with flowers for the other half.

Thank you ladies for your input! Smiley smile

I know there are thousands of pics on Pinterest; I live there. I asked other brides/grooms because I'd like to see how practical those inspirational photos are. Some of those pictures are created by a design team and a couple who spends tens of thousands to make it happen. While beautiful, not all of us (probably most of us) are spending $25k on centerpieces.

I will be using rectangle tables! My florist actually recommended them cause they took my table & centerpiece count from 25 to 20, and the venue approved. She is doing a square flower box, & then the eucalyptus will drape down the sides onto the table covering a long rectangle like shape (if that makes sense) - These are costing $50 each if that helps , i also live on pinterest and know exactly what you mean about wanting a real life example not the pinterest version Smiley smile

I'm using rectangular tables and am using garlands to decorate them. They will be the same garlands used for the church pews at the ceremony so even though garlands are more expensive centerpieces I will actually be saving money overall.

The florist did two small arrangements and one large arrangement on alternate tables with greenery, petals, and candles
