Rectangular table Centerpieces

BridalGirl24, on November 7, 2016 at 3:58 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

Hello!

Our venue is on the smaller side and rectangular tables give us the most space so we will be using them for our reception.

For some reason it's harder for me to visualize decorating a rectangular table, I feel like there's more room to cover (it'd only be 8-10 people per table)

But my idea was to have the white linens provided with navy blue runners and have a silver lantern in the middle with a candle inside and do maybe some flowers wrapped around it with a few smaller candles with white rose pedals put out across the runner.

I'm not creative at all so maybe someone who is more creative could visualize if it would look awful or not, any advice greatly appreciated Smiley smile thank you!!

I'm also doing farm tables for my reception instead of rounds. I'm going to be doing very simple greens down the center with flowers scattered, some baby jars with candles, and each table is getting a 6" cake.

We did these recently.,.. all the candlesticks were from goodwill and garage sales - nothing was more than $2.00 - the bride was AWESOME with collecting them!

If budget is an issue - ask that the flower be focused in the center so you still have flowers - but it stays affordable.

Now if budget isn't an issue... put something like this going down the table Smiley smile

We used long tables, we did 4 T-Shaped patterns and 3 large tables we made into squares by putting 4 tables together. We did these as the larger centerpieces in the center of the tables and put small votive candles on on each individual table.
