Recommended outdoor photography sites for engagement pictures??

Hi all! My fiance and I are looking to book our engagement session soon. We are definitely the outdoorsy type and looking for the perfect atmosphere. We would LOVE to be able to find a lake with a wooden dock in (or close to) Omaha. Any recommendations?

    Your photographer is a great resource when scouting photo locations for your engagement shoot. If he/she is local, they often have great ideas and suggestions of where to take photos.

    I haven't yet! Omaha is such a big city I'm not sure if there will be a lake that really fits my vision. So I'm willing to travel to smaller towns in Nebraska and use a local photographer there if they know of any dreamy lake areas. Smiley love

    Have you thought of Mahoney State Park? It's 1/2 way between Lincoln and Omaha, and they have lots of little lakes, and nooks and crannies that would be good for photos.
