Recommendations for INDOOR photo location in the DMV

ZimWifey, on September 20, 2017 at 6:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

So I've reached the point where I feel like EVERYTHING will go wrong on my wedding day (sad face). So, I'm trying to devise a backup plan for my photo location. Currently, I'd like to take all our pics at Malcolm X park in D.C. But in case of intolerable cold and/or rain I would like a second backup location that we can just pop into. Am I overthinking this? Does such a place exist within 30 mins of downtown D.C.? Thanks ladies (and gents)!

Definitely thought this thread would be about taking photos at a Secretary of State's office...

Is there a place where your reception will be that you can take photos?

I'm not super familiar with that area but the national library might be nice.

Haha, yes, DMV is a very regional acronym and I didn't know it either before moving here. Museums/ union station are a great idea but since wedding is on a Saturday I'm worried that those locations will be super busy. Also ceremony ends at 5PM so access may be difficult.....

I literally read this and thought "Isn't there only one spot to get your picture taken at the DMV?"

    It's been a long week.
