Recommendations for Electronic Save the Dates??

Ashley, on January 22, 2020 at 4:41 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 13

We have decided that electronic STDs would be best for us because we have a number of friends in the music business who are touring for months at a time and won't get paper ones, and others who are traveling for various reasons. Does anyone have recommendations for sites they used that are still classy and worked well? Bonus for address collection features as well!

I haven't personally used these sites myself but you can check the following:

    1. Evite

    2. Withjoy

    3. Greenvelope

    4. Paperlesspost

    5. The Knot (possibly)

    Good luck!

Honestly, I just used a Facebook event. Most of my guest list was already there and it's just a courtesy to give folks a heads up. 20 years ago there was no such thing as a Save the Date.

One of my friends used Appy Couple and loves it. There’s a one time fee, which is a bummer, but really high quality website, evites, and I think you can even print some of the designs if you want to mail a few

I’m going to create my own on Canva and email them myself. They have some free templates already for save the dates, and you can change the colors, add pictures, and so much more. I use Canva all the time at work to create flyers, newsletters, etc.

I used Minted for my bridesmaids invites and they were beautiful and easy. You can even schedule when you want them to go out and they also allow you to upload your registries etc for easy access for your guest. My cousin is gettmarried next month and she used it as well for her wedding and reception invitations and it allows you to RSVP etc. I've also used evite in the past but Minted seems to be geared more towards specific occasions. Hope this helps!
