Recessional???

I hope this doesn't sound stupid but do grandparents walk down the aisle first at the end of the wedding ceremony? And if so, I only gave a grandfather and a great grandfather on my side.. would they walk at the same time? Because my great grandfather struggles with walking.

Usually it is the bride and groom followed by your bridal party.

For the recessional, the bride and groom leave first followed by the ring bearer and flower girl, then maid of honor and best man, then the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and then the immediate family. After family, then it’s the officiant and the guests.

After the bridal party, usually it’s whoever if sitting in the front row. Most of the time it’s the parents and grandparents, so they’ll follow out next. However, if you’re concerned about your grandpa walking out safely, just tell them to wait until everyone else leaves so he’s not rushed. It would be awful if he fell! Good for you for thinking ahead of time on this!

Usually is bride and groom, bridal party, parents and then grandparents. They can walk together or however you want.
