@Barb That was one of our potential recessionals! It was one of the few songs I had picked out that my fiance even liked.

I am really eager to have "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire as our recessional. It is pure magic. We are having a jazz trio perform.

"Got My Mind Set on You" by George Harrison - one of the first things FH and I learned about each other when we met was that we both loved this song! Plus it's fun and upbeat. I was going to surprise him with it, but...I accidentally let it slip when we met with our DJ. On the plus side, FH is really excited that I picked that song!

I put so much time and effort into our ceremony music it was crazy to even think about. The way our coordinator worked everything I wasn't anywhere near to even hear the first 2 songs. Then the song I picked for dad to walk me down the isle. I don't recall hearing 1 word of that either. Once we were married and the recessional started...nope not a word of that was heard by either of us.

I'm sure someone heard them..we have gotten a lot of compliments on our ceremony.

Our first married kiss and recessional song was Kiss Me by sixpence none the richer. Its just a really cute song and upbeat. We had a small wedding party so it worked great for the kiss and walking out. After that I think Home by Phillip Phillips played for us to greet everyone as they walked out of the church.
