Recessional song

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about what song I want to play right after we kiss and say I do. I don't see us dancing right away but I do want a triumphant/romantic song. We are using quartet instrumentals for our processional and the bride entrance. music. With that in mind I have a couple questions/thoughts:

1. Should the music right after the pastor pronounces us husband and wife be an instrumental or would the actual song work well there.

2. Should the song be played right at the climax of that song?

I was thinking of the Climax of Shallows or Kane Brown's What Ifs. What are your thoughts?

We used "Simple" by Florida Georgia Line for our recessional. Our officiant pronounced us as Mr. and Mrs., our DJ started the music at the beginning of the song, and then we walked out. I'd think depending on the song you might want to start at the chorus if the opening is slow/not as exciting (if that's what you're going for). You could do instrumental or lyrical, either works!

I was thinking at starting at the intro but we will be out of the room so fast I think that would make it underwhelming. It's such a triumphant moment. I guess depending on how long your walk to get outside of the room/area who determine where to start the song.

We're using the following song. It really depends on what you like! I know some people use "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" which is always a good choice!

We're using "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by Stevie Wonder! But I think I'm going to have our DJ start it right before the chorus, so we're walking away from the altar while it plays. Can't wait!!

That is such a great song! You could start it up as soon as you guys kiss because of the catchy beat. Your official can still be heard if he has any final words as you leave.
