Hey Guys! I am back and forth with the idea of having a child free reception vs. allowing children at the reception. Can you guys help a gal out and let me know your thoughts and/or experiences with either reception type.

    It might depend on the time of day. We had a similar situation, and lots of my local friends had kids under 5. Our ceremony started at 6:00pm, which was late enough for my local friends to get a sitter for their young kids. Only a few brought kids to the wedding, plus out of town family. It ended up working really well letting our guests choose to bring their kids. Most of them preferred not too, but the few that needed to were still able to come.
