Hello everyone,

What are your thoughts of our reception order of events? Is there anything we should add and/or move and why?

Thanks,

Jim

I would move the family dances to after dinner. I would also probably cut a thing or two. This is a lot for your guests to sit through and very minimal time for dancing. Seems like they’re just there to watch you have fun, especially single guests who can’t participate in the anniversary dance.

I like it. In hindsight I wish I did the toasts before the dinner when I had everyone’s attention already

This sounds like a lot of things to do to me. We chose not to do all of those things because we would rather just celebrate with friends and family. I don't want to be on a strict timeline or have a bunch of mandatory fun events. Are all of these really important to you?

    Alex,

I agree with you. I didn't realize there were so many events. A lot of our singles have been married before so I don't think we're passionate about the garter toss or bouquet toss.

    Caytlyn,

I like your thought about moving the family dance (My mother and myself until after dinner). That would be a good way to open the dance floor.
