Reception only etiquette.

Hi everyone, I need a little help with some etiquette rules. Hubby and I eloped with immediate family only last month but we decided to throw a party/reception (at his mother and grandmothers request lol) most of his family lives here in CO with us, but my family is all in HI so it's harder for them to be here, that's why we're waiting till August to have the party. I've seen a lot of reception only parties so that part I'm not so scared about, the main part I'm worried about are down below.

1. People have asked if we are registered anywhere. Both of us were married before and we live together. With us not having a ceremony do we need to register?

2. His family has all volunteered to do a pot luck for the party. Is that ok or should we supply the food?

3. Normally weddings/receptions have a theme or decorations, would it be stupid to do this?

4. It's ok if I don't wear an actual wedding dress right?

5. Pictures? Would it be stupid to do wedding photos without having a ceremony?

I would also add that you can base whether you wear a wedding dress entirely on how much *you* want to wear one, if you want-- my wedding was very casual, but I *love* frills and lace, so my dress was very formal-- we're just as married. You two are already married, so nothing you do at the reception will make any difference to that. And I think people would love to see you in a wedding dress, if you want to wear one.
