Reception Entrance

Lynne, on June 21, 2019 at 8:47 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

I am going to have so much fun with ideas that I am wanting to do.

At first I was going to rent a classic car for my FH and I to leave the ceremony in. But, now I am thinking it would be more special to leave the ceremony after everyone and take a stroll through the rose garden as a family then go to the reception in the classic car with our children. Then we enter the reception to the song We Go Together from the movie Grease. I think it would be fun and I think it works well.

It may sound strange but I don't want to walk down the aisle to my FH to the traditional "Here Comes the Bride". I know it isn't Grease themed or rockabilly but I absolutely love the song Thousand Years by Christina Perri, but I thought about Love Me Tender by Elvis. Hard to choose.

You don’t have to use the traditional songs. I didn’t. There’s a lot of amazing songs that work best for our style. As far as driving in the car with your kids I recommend if possible to do it just you two. You won’t have much time during the wedding to be alone and this is a great time for it. Just something to consider.

A Thousand Years is touching. But so is Elvis & fits your era theme! Vote for Elvis.
