I've always heard it like this:

Mother and father of the bride

    Mother and father of groom

    Bridesmaids escorted by groomsman

Flower girls escorted by ring bearer

    MOH escorted by best man

    Bride and groom

I thought the parents of the groom came in first, then the parents of the bride .. but I could be wrong.

For the reception I let everyone find their seats with all of the guests. Only DH and I made an entrance.

The parents and bridal party were announced for their dances so that was enough for them.

For the grand entrance we don't usually announce or include the parents. We do recognize them after everyone is seated.

Wedding Party announcement is usually the same as they enter to the ceremony, with the exception of groom, who enters with you.
