Reception Buffet Menu

Shynika, on December 20, 2019 at 1:19 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12

Hello everyone,

I am so indecisive on my reception menu. What are some of the food options your guests enjoyed during your reception?

We haven't had our wedding yet, but this is what we'll have for our buffet!

    Pulled Pork Barbecue

    Fried Chicken

    Hash & Rice

    Macaroni & Cheese

    Baby Limas

    Corn

    Rolls

and of course sweet tea Smiley smile

It's being catered by a super well-known and popular barbecue restaurant in our state, so the few guests that do know what we'll be serving are PUMPED for the food lol

We haven't had ours yet either, but our this our buffet menu:

Served salad at the tables with 3 choices of dressings.

    Buffet itself will be:

    Mashed potatoes and gravy

Roast beef with a different type of gravy than the potatoes

    Chicken picatta

    Green beans

    Dinner rolls.

Haven't picked our appetizers yet but right now it's looking like: small chicken quesadillas, meatballs in barbecue sauce, mini crab cakes and a cheese platter.

We had a southwestern themed buffet. Steak and chicken, tortilla salad, chipotle mac and cheese, southwestern rice. It was awesome!

We went heavy on the seafood. My groom and I loved the salad the most, if you have an option to upgrade from a simple green salad I'd go for it! My family definitely enjoyed the shrimp and sausage Reception Buffet Menu 2

and cold seafood bar. I got married at a casino and casino's are known for their huge crab claws and decadent seafood. I personally don't eat seafood, but I knew it would be the best my venue had to offer. Besides, I was in tight spanx and a white gown, pigging out wasn't on my priority list that day ;-)
