Reasonable price for open bar- Tulum, Mexico

Hi all,

I'm just starting to look at wedding prices and am completely overwhelmed and shocked at prices! We were quoted $130pp for premium open bar for 6 hours and I feel like this is robbery. Is this a normal price?

That has to include meal or else Cristal better be flowing from the bathroom fucets...if not that must be some super premium liquor! Our plate cost per head is $29 and then another $19 for an open premium bar

No unfortunately it doesn't even include food, which is another $75pp. Yeah.. I'm hoping we can find a place in Tulum that isn't outrageous

That is outrageous. Our plate charge is $23.95 and open bar is $17.95 per head. Check with SunshineJenn. She just had a DW in Mexico.

Maltese/Karen - were your prices for open bar per hour or a set number of hours? Was just quoted 86/pp for 5 hours which also seems high
