Realistic Flame-less Candles

Emly, on May 15, 2019 at 1:28 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13

I'm trying to get a better idea on my centerpieces and found out that my venue doesn't allow for real candles. So I'm playing around with the idea of using fairy lights or finding a realistic flame-less candle inside of a lantern for our centerpieces. Has anyone had any luck finding either for a decent price??

I've seen both on Amazon. I think they have the LED candles in bulk.

My tea lights are flawless (and were~$13 for 36 on Amazon) us about $14 for 45 wraps. I also found pillar candles on amazing for reasonable prices, but decided to just go with lots of tea lights.

Oh! I bought both fairy lights and realistic tea lights on Amazon! Both reasonably priced and match in color ( the LEDs are the same color).

I got mine at Costco around Christmas. They look so real I always reach around them and then realize they are fake and I won't burn myself.

My venue is a barn and they also have an open flame policy.

I found my candles at Walmart - I cannot remember the brand. But it was 12 candles for like $7.

When I got them I was like oh no they are the flickering ones (I think those usually look so cheap)...but it is such a light flicker that it makes it looks very realistic. My mom worries about candles and I have a wall decoration with a bunch of candle holders on it - she came over to my house and yelled at me for having real candles in it.

Amazon would be your best bet price wise! I think I found 36 or 48 for around $12.00. I don't remember exact since I bought mine a while ago.

You can get LED candles in several different sizes (tealights, votives, pillar) depending on what size you want. I've seen them on Amazon, Walmart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, even Dollar Tree (online).

    They aren't very expensive either.

I was just working on mine as I read your post! I got my flameless candles from Hobby Lobby and Walmart. I got some votives, too! Mine flicker and have an uneven top (to look like they have melted a little). I think they look really realistic, especially inside a lantern!

We got some really amazing remote operated "candles" from Amazon, after seeing some at a restaurant we like. They have a little piece that's shaped like a flame that bobbles a bit, to make it look more real.
