PLEASE HELP! ! !

I was in the same boat. Our caterer includes all plastics in the price. Though others assured me no one would notice I was still hesitant about it (even though it fit our budget better). I have been known to break plastic forks trying to eat. After we had less people RSVP yes than we had budgeted for, I upgraded to real china. Immediately I felt as if a worry had been lifted. I guess my point is, do what feels right to you.

IMO it depends on what the formality of the wedding is. If it's something that's important to you and you'll feel good about, spend the money. I personally don't care what the guests eat off of since I know that I (who always normally pay close attention to these things) couldn't even remember what was used at either of the most recent weddings that I went to. It's all based on your personal preference. If it feels right, splurge.

Unless it's a casual backyard wedding, I say it's always best to use real!
