Real charger plate and fake dining/dessert plates?

I am doing an outdoor tent wedding buffet with food stations for 60-100 people. There will also be a food truck. I think I’m going to use disposable plates (clear plastic with gold trim) but I’m debating whether to use real gold charger plates underneath. I would have to buy and wash them myself. Should I just do all disposable plates or use real charger plates and fake plates to set underneath the disposable plates that will be actually used for food?
