Reaching out!

I’d wait until Sept 2nd to start reaching out. You can say something such as “we haven’t received your rsvp for our Oct 8th reception yet and we’d love to know if you will be able to join”. Some people like to add something along the lines of “if we don’t hear back by sept 7, we will assume that you won’t be able to join us”. But I’d only add the second line when I reached out the second time. I hope that helps.

We plan to individually text those who haven't rsvp'd by the date (ours is also Sept 1st!) Or have our parents reach out to their family/friends saying something along the lines of what Ariel said. Short and sweet, like "We haven't received your rsvp for our wedding In October and are hoping you can make it! Please let us know " Good luck!

If it helps, I called and took the approach of “Just calling if you had any questions of the protocols we are taking and happy to answer any questions you have” 😉❤️

Our reception is October 2 and we are giving people until 9/18 to respond, although my husband and I have already reminded people to RSVP (mainly the people closest to us). We are only waiting for about 25 more and on 9/19 I will begin contacting those who haven't responded - ours is electronic RSVPs.
