RCIA classes near Miami

Hi everyone,

I want to get married in a Catholic Church. My fiancé has his baptism, communion and confirmation done, but I only have my baptism. I want to take RCIA classes to be able to join the religion and get married in a Catholic Church. Do any of you know of any short RCIA courses (6-8 weeks, for example)? All I keep finding is 28-32+ week courses. We are getting married in 10 months. I look forward to your suggestions! Smiley smile))

For one you don't have to both be catholic to get married in the church. Catholic and hubby is Methodist and we got married in the church. The more important thing is to find a church willing to marry you. In my parish you must inform the priest 6 months in advance in order to complete the precana requirements. Also to answer your other question I've never heard of a short rcia class. At a lo of material and something to take very serious and not rush. This is something else you could talk to the priest about when you talk about the wedding. If you don't already maybe you should consider becoming a member of a local church and become active.
