We had a whole section of Motown songs; the dance floor was packed when they were playing

I Found My Everything by Mary J. Blige will be our first dance song. I'm sure we will have quite a few others mixed in through out the night.

Primetime by Janette mone and Miguel. Also probably adorn and sure thing by Miguel

The majority of our songs will be R&B ( other two songs gospel).

Ribbon in the sky- Stevie Wonder/ bridesmaids walking in

Giving myself- Jennifer Hudson/ bride(me) walking in

We are having like a Motown Flashback portion at the beginning of the reception so our families can enjoy songs from their partying days and get on the dance floor

Cruisin by Smokey Robinson will probably be our 1st dance song. Along with a good set of Motown which I believe is very rhythm & blues-y - although it is in a class of genre all its own.

I'm still debating which song will be our first dance but i know we will play "love is you" by Chrisette Michele and " alone together" by Daley & Marsha Ambrousis.

I'm not really sure of any of the songs I will use but I'm pretty sure it would be fun to play "No Scrubs" by TLC for the garter toss, instead of the same old single ladies song by Beyonce!... LOL
