Quick Bridesmaid Dresses?

Megan, on May 11, 2017 at 7:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 39

My fiance and I just booked a venue for our wedding, and we decided to take advantage of the discount our venue would give us if we took a 2017 date. So no we have 4 months to plan our wedding. Anyone have any advice on the best way to do/get bridesmaid dresses when you have a quick timeframe?

PS - Bridesmaids are spread out across the country.

I'm not on a tight time frame, but my plan was to go to a department store to find dresses on the more affordable side of things. This might be an option for your tight time frame? You can buy the dresses right then and there. Worst comes to worst you have to order them from the stores website.

David's Bridal has quick ship dresses. Our bridesmaids got theirs less than two weeks after ordering!

You could go to a department store. A lot of them have great dresses your bridesmaids could use.

Azazie, if they order them asap. They can get custom sizing, so they hopefully wouldn't have to worry about alterations.

If you want to go a different route. You could tell them a shade of color you want (keep in mind it will probably differ per bridesmaid.) Have them pick their own dress, if you want them to be short tell them the length and so on. If your okay with different dresses.

Hi almost date twin!! We ordered Alfred Angelo dresses that had about an 8-week turn around time. Just ordered one this week and they said it should be in early August.

Pick a color...have each of them go to something like a David's Bridal and get there dresses. In our case we had just 5 months. We picked a general color and the bridesmaids could get whatever type of dresses they wanted as long as they were somewhere within the color scheme.

Maybe give all the bridesmaids a specific color and style and they can pick out their own? Not sure how you feel about different styles. But I've seen it done before
