I would not suggest getting a wedding planner 3 years in advance, I would wait until closer to 18 months. Unless they require no security deposit or payment until actual planning begins, I would highly recommend you wait.

It’s actually not a bad idea as fees for all vendor are going to increase once COVID is “under control” and things start rolling again.


My wedding planner increased her fees for the next year and if we have to postpone again into 2021, I won’t have to pay the new planner fees.
You might not be able to do much in terms of planning at this moment but at least you can start saving to pay the planner off once the time comes. I say Kudos to you, one less thing off your list!

Because My wedding planner she is a private company around So cal so they don’t have a office around she comes to us or we meet some where and like I said I already pay for my wedding planner we on step one analyzing my budget until vendors have my price for my 2023 year.
