Question for those who wore a lace shrug/bolero

I don't think it could hurt. The beauty of small clear snaps is that if you choose NOT to use them, I'm pretty sure no one will ever know they were there. I do agree with seamstress' thought process. If, having seen and worked on your dress and shrug, she thinks you might want to have a way to anchor it in place, I'd trust her advice -- no harm, no foul.

I'm virtually certain they will be nearly invisible, unless someone KNOWS they are there and looks really closely. Daughter's BMs had to come get me to help them with her bustle because they could NOT find the clear buttons and loops.... They were frantically searching for them, from an up close perspective, and could not find them. It will be okay!
