Question for the crafty and creative ladies!

Taylor, on February 13, 2020 at 3:29 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

What the heck can I do with the tall cylinder vases besides candles or flowers. My original idea was to do the three vases with pillar candles and greenery. After I signed my venue contract, I realized that they don't allow open flames so I'd need to buy LED. The tealight LED's are affordable but would look kind of odd in a 12 inch tall vase. The pillar LED lights are just outrageous. Then I looked at floating LED lights because I thought maybe the various sizing on the pillars is what was making them so pricey but those were MORE expensive. Flowers would more than likely be more pricey. I'll have around 25 tables with three vases on each. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendation? I don't want it to look tacky. I even emailed the venue to see if there was any chance they'd make an exception for floating candles because they're floating... on water... but she said no. My mom wanted to make me these with floating beads/pearls, but they didn't quite fit our style. I love the way they look though, you could always take the candles out of the top. Question for the crafty and creative ladies! 2

That's definitely unique! I feel like I need some type of light on the tables or it will be uncomfortably dark in there. lol These would be a great filler though. Thanks for the recommendation!

That's exactly why I loved candles! It definitely makes it feel more romantic. I'm super sad that they won't allow them.
